APARTMENT IN A LISBON WORKERS' VILA, 2024

Refurbishment of a 35 m² apartment in a workers’ vila, originally divided into four minimal compartments and a 5 m² terrace, transformed into a one-bedroom apartment with a bedroom, bathroom and open kitchen. The strategy consisted of conceiving a single, unified space into which a wooden box is introduced, differentiating areas on its exterior, enclosing the bedroom and incorporating additional functional uses within its thickness. All elements were designed at a minimum scale, freeing up space for life within the interior of the home.
